MedVici Health is a decision and transparency platform for international self-payers and privately insured patients. MedVici does not treat, does not refer for a success-based fee, and holds no treatment money.
This page sets out what you should know before taking the first step — in full, including where the answer is uncomfortable.
A list is not an answer.
Search for a hospital today and you get thousands of results, advertisements in between, and the task of opening every page yourself. What you end up with is not more knowledge but more uncertainty — and the question of what you should have been sorting by in the first place.
MedVici is not a directory. A directory enumerates; MedVici places things in order. The difference lies not in the number of entries but in the fact that the criteria are disclosed: specialty, case volumes, certification, quality reports. You see not only which hospitals qualify, but why — and you can disagree with the selection.
MedVici opens access to German hospitals and physicians and supports you digitally and free of charge in finding the right specialist.
Where personal work is required, it is added on instruction: independent second opinions, the coordination of appointments, and accompaniment of your treatment pathway through to the handover to your care team at home.
MedVici is not a hospital, not a medical practice, not a tour operator, not an insurer and not a payment service provider. The medical decision is made by the treating physician — not by MedVici.
You live in Germany and are looking for orientation within the German care system. You need no accompaniment, only reliable facts.
Free of charge — no registration, no accountYou have found what you were looking for and arrange the appointment yourself, using the data MedVici has disclosed. MedVici does not appear in the process and receives no remuneration from any side.
Free of chargeThe case is urgent, or you would like personal support with finding and coordinating appointments — calls, direct hospital contacts, arrangements at short notice. This accompaniment requires a service contract concluded beforehand. The flat fee arises on instruction, not on an outcome.
Flat fee under service contractYou live abroad and wish to instruct MedVici to coordinate your treatment pathway — not merely to use the published data.
€499 per caseBookable screening and check-up offerings at a stated price. The launch date is 1 September 2026. What the price includes, and which share of it is a processing fee, is stated before you book — not afterwards.
From 1 September 2026That two of the five routes are free of charge is not a promotion but the foundation: a transparency platform that charges for transparency is not one.
Two invoices, two recipients, no shared account.
The hospital invoices the treatment directly to you. MedVici invoices its own fee and nothing else. MedVici accepts no treatment payments, operates no escrow or custody accounts, and is not a payment service provider.
The reason is not caution but structure: whoever holds the patient's money has an interest of their own in the treatment going ahead. MedVici does not hold it — and therefore cannot develop that interest in the first place.
Two invoices, two recipients, no shared account. Wherever no column carries an entry, you pay no one.

A fixed fee cannot grow with the bill. The service fee does not rise with the hospital's invoice, with the number of procedures, or with the length of stay. What is covered is always the coordination, never the treatment. MedVici accepts no treatment payments — no escrow, no custody, no payment service — and receives no remuneration from hospitals, practices or therapists for referring patients.
A fixed fee cannot grow with the bill.
The MedVici service fee is a fixed amount per case. It does not rise with the hospital's invoice, with the number of procedures, or with the length of stay. What is covered is always the coordination, never the treatment. MedVici receives no remuneration from hospitals, practices or therapists for referring patients.
That is a matter of construction, not a promise.
To assess your case we need findings, imaging and medical reports. These are health data within the meaning of Art. 9 GDPR and are handled accordingly.
Every recipient is named to you before anything is passed on. You give consent for that recipient — not blanket consent for "partner hospitals". You may withdraw it at any time.
A medical second opinion is the independent assessment of an existing finding by a further specialist.
It places the finding in context, it confirms or contradicts, and it names alternatives. It does not replace physical examination, it promises no treatment success, and it is no assurance that a treatment will take place.
Flights, accommodation and transfers you book with the providers — your contract is with them, not with MedVici.
What already applies today: your treatment dates set the frame. Arrival day, expected length of stay and earliest return are settled before you book.
The plan is to integrate selected providers into the process, so that you need not move between several sites. That would change nothing about the contract: it would still be concluded with the provider.
The service is rendered by the respective provider, who also issues the invoice. These costs follow your bookings and are not included in the €499 service fee.
MedVici declines where no professionally suitable hospital can be found for your case, where medical records are unverifiable or contradictory, or where the origin of funds cannot be plausibly demonstrated.
A refusal is not a judgement about you. It follows from MedVici applying the same standard to every case.

Direct appointment booking through a booking service will follow later and remains free of charge. If you would like to hear when it is ready, let us know — your details do not leave your device until you send the email yourself.
Your email programme will open with a prepared message. You can read and
edit it before sending — nothing in it is hidden. The subject line carries
the time your consent was given (EW) and a checksum
(PS) that makes later changes detectable. What counts for our
records is the time the message reaches our mailbox.
