Publications · Research from clinics and physicians
MedVici Media
MedVici Media lists studies, journal articles and conference abstracts from clinics and physicians in Germany, Austria and Switzerland – with the original source and the institution named in the publication. Search by condition, treatment, clinic or person. The selection is neutral: whether an institution is a partner of MedVici affects neither its inclusion nor the order.
Scientific publications as stated in the author affiliations – no statement about treatment success or the quality of an institution, and no offer of treatment or referral. MedVici Media is separate from the partner offering of MedVici Health. MedVici Media does not currently show publications related to cancer.
How this directory is compiled
Sources
The basis is PubMed, the freely accessible literature database of the US National Library of Medicine. What PubMed does not cover – such as Elsevier journals outside the NLM selection and congress supplements – is supplemented by OpenAlex (CC0) for works with authors from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Attribution
- An institution is counted only if its name and location appear together in a single author affiliation.
- What counts is the institution as stated in the publication, not the current employer.
- A person is attributed only if their name and own institution match.
Condition, treatment, subject area
The classification follows the MeSH 2026 controlled vocabulary of the National Library of Medicine: major headings from the indexing and technical terms in the title. The subject area is derived from the branch of the disease classification. The classification describes what a work is about – it is neither an assessment nor a recommendation.
Profiles and neutrality
Clinic and physician profiles show only the title, journal, year and link. Retracted works and corrections appear only here, with a notice. Rankings, seals and paid content have no place in this directory. MedVici links to full texts; it does not store copies.
Updates and objections
In operation, the directory is synchronized twice a day. If an attribution is incorrect or you object to being named, a message via “Report attribution” in the entry is sufficient; corrections are made within 48 hours.
