Knowledge

Briefly explained

I have statutory health insurance. What is free of charge for me?

Search, directory and enquiries are free of charge for everyone, and many facilities treat people with statutory health insurance. Personal support is currently for self-payers and privately insured patients.

What is an MVZ?

In a Medizinisches Versorgungszentrum (MVZ, medical care centre), several doctors provide outpatient treatment under one roof. For you it works like a practice.

Can I go to a private hospital with statutory health insurance?

Purely private hospitals generally do not bill statutory health insurance. Many hospitals, however, treat both statutorily and privately insured patients.
